Music – an invisible storyteller.

Imagine a movie without music. A car chase with all the adrenaline of a Sunday drive. A heartfelt goodbye that lands with the emotional weight of a tax form. Not exactly cinema at its finest.

That’s the situation in the video above—until you unmute it.

Flip the sound on, and suddenly it all clicks.

Music isn’t background—It’s the thing that turns pictures into a plot. Without it, you’ve got scenes. With it, you’ve got cinema.

“Often, a story doesn’t need more words. It needs something deeper. A spark. A sound. The right notes of music.”

I was born in the Netherlands in 1978, and music has been my sidekick ever since I was tall enough to climb onto my dad’s organ bench. From composing my own tunes to working in the music industry and passing on the love of music to my sons at home—music has always been part of my story.

In movies and TV series, music doubles the emotional experience. A single melody can make a brand unforgettable. A compelling soundtrack makes you feel not just like a player, but like a hero in an epic game.

Music doesn’t just tell the story.
It makes you feel it.

Of the five human senses, the sense of hearing is one of the most powerful.

The sense of hearing perceives music, speech and environmental sounds in a differentiated manner that surpasses the capabilities of other sensory organs. Please check my portfolio to get an impression on how what we do and how we can strenghten your visuals with our compositions.
